“NURSES DEAL WITH DRUGGED, DRUNK & COMBATIVE PATIENTS ON A DAILY BASIS, BUT I NEVER HAD TO KILL A SINGLE ONE TO GET THEM UNDER CONTROL.”
My sis, a retired nurse, agrees. She can’t understand why cops haven’t learned de-escalation & other techniques 100-lb. nurses use regularly to get 200-lb. crazies in hand.

Watch out for hair splitting. There’s a technical difference between a choke hold and a strangulation hold.
