Sometimes you don’t need aliens to move into fantasy. The Europeans were convinced there had to be white Africans somewhere ‘cause the Bantu couldn’t have constructed the huge stone enclosures of Zimbabwe. Only white guys could build that big.
Did you know that if you take a new razor blade and put it under a block of stone from the Great Pyramid it will stay sharp…until you take it out and use it.
Polynesians found Easter Island, I suspect they could find the Americas. Kennowick man seems to have had cousins in Hokkaido. Books are recent, history books more so. Other stuff was hap’nin’. The news channels still support the story that supports their story. I’m goin’ with; Indonesian Hobbits were mighty seafarers who developed tech first & spread stories of magical little people to the corners of the globe. They were so magical they could find corners on a globe. Ain’t no aliens, that’s a hobbit in a spacesuit.
so let me see … Africa has pyramids, Asia has pyramids, the Americas have pyramids, i don’t recall any in Europe! are we the only group of people that can’t figure out the simple processes? even my two year old grandson figured it out
