It would at least be something if the people pushing the 10 Commandments on everyone else actually followed them (or believed in their importance).

Sorry Vero, public schools don’t allow corporal punishment these days, and school discipline has suffered.

In non-Hispanic Catholic schools it would be the 12-inch ruler (in the old days, of course).

I think that, say, a pair of chanclas, inscribed perhaps with basic rules of classroom behavior, would have more heft.

Oh yeah, reestablishing corporal punishment will surely attract better quality teachers.

Once again through the decrees of State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Ryan Walters, Oklahoma has become once again a national embarrassment.
