Elon Musk’s DOGE chain saw and wanton slashing has nothing to do with finding “fraud” or “waste.” If they were interested in finding “fraud and waste,” they would have hired seasoned, experienced forensic auditors, not teenage hackers who work for a social media company based on data mining of personal data (and also open to selling its data to other companies or other sinister foreign interests).

And if they were really interested in cost efficiency, they wouldn’t have started by ILLEGALLY firing the Inspectors General that actually find real fraud and waste. They wouldn’t be slashing the staffs of the IRS which pays for itself many times over as the primary source of actual revenue. And they wouldn’t be slashing the staffs of our national parks, which have a total budget of $3.8 billion, but generate total revenues of $55 billion.

Also, if they are finding so many trillions in “fraud and waste” — if they’re cutting spending so much — why do they need to raise the debt ceiling by another four trillion?

Oh yeah, to give special tax giveaways and corporate welfare to the few richest elites who already have the most.

Also, someone needs to explain to them the difference between “fraud and waste” and disagreements over policies you dislike just because they help someone other than your bazillionaire bro-ligarchs.

Hey, are you all comfortable with the idea of Elon Musk and a bunch of teenage hackers rummaging through your IRS and Social Security data, including identifying information, birth dates, security information, financial information, income, taxes, account numbers and so much more?

But then what can you expect from someone like Elon Musk, who says that “The greatest weakness of Western Civilization is EMPATHY.”
