What kind of instrument? Musical? Measuring? Is that a finished one in the last panel?

Same thing happened to me. My dad was a quiet, hard working man. He served in Italy during WWII and was shot in the leg by a German soldier. I was a rebellious teenager and we didn’t always get along, but later in life we got to be really close friends.

Well Spoken. My father is 89, better health than many but I can see the failing physically though mentally he is still strong.. I will miss him.My father in law would have been 99 this year also. He has been gone over 25 years, and yeah, I do miss him.

I was just thinking something like this yesterday. It would have been my mom’s 91st birthday.

Just keep honoring all the fine memories you have.

I still after all of these years, miss my Navy Dad who served in the Pacific arena. He died in 1949 when I was five so I never really got to know him.

I made it up for my daughter and we are great friends these days, although quite far apart.

My dad died last spring…we were best buds, but dementia stole that. It’s always too soon when they go.

Thanks for sharing. It’s bittersweet & it goes to fast…My dad is gone 15 years and mom 4. Alzheimer’s is also an early killer that leaves a shell of the person that was… Miss them everyday
