Mark Evanier thoughtfully posted and wrote about this video a day or two ago at his NewsFromME website and it is as wonderful as he said it was!

My bleary aging eyes (and low-resolution tablet) had me puzzling over, but tantalized by, the influence of supposed “sex animation” from Star Wars and Tron. Then the realization that in following the link I should be expecting a song parody had my ears primed for a takeoff on the Dylan classic “You Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere.” Given that, my much more limited enthusiasm for Geoff Mack’s “I’ve Been Everywhere” limits my appreciation for Rick Moranis’s twist on the latter tune, even though it is as ingeniously twisted as a vintage Red Ingle hit. The animation, though, is absolutely brilliant!

This is awesome Carol. Wonderful work! Chris did a fantastic job with this video and your art is a perfect compliment to Rick’s lyrics. Hard to believe that he originally released the song four years ago.

Loved the Rick Moranis song when I heard it a dozen years ago. The animation complements it beautifully. Great work!

This is fantastic and really shows hundreds of hours of meticulous work! Congratulations to everyone involved!

OK, these comments allow some limited html, I doubt this will work but I won’t know until I hit “comment”. If not, a simple copy of the URL and paste does work fine.

Great animation, fun, if frightfully on the mark these days.

But Rick Moranis? Is that Rick Ghostbusters/Spaceballs/Honey, I Shrunk The Kids Moranis? I haven’t heard from him in decades, long before most of the brand names in the video existed. And the voice I know from there is a long way from this Johnny Cash impression.
