Okay I love the strips but the ABUDANCE of gay jokes haven’t aged well, paticuarlly the freelance stud squad coming off homophobic. Dean it still works for because he’s dean, nothing could make him look WORSE, but it dosen’t fit as well on the less obnoxious lelise and ralph. They’ve aged better than they should as clearly Frank means for the guys saying it to be idiots, sympathetic character or not, it’s just not funny is all. And not in a "this is offensive way’ it’s just not hilrious on it’s own that “oh ha ha they think thi ssituation is gay” you need some extra effort for that to land. That being said ther’es a part of this arc that ages FAR worse that i’m amazed wasn’t edited in papers.; We’ll get to it. And I still love the strip, i’m just not immune to cricizing thigns I love even old things.
