It does kinda fit the Mitchell kid’s M.O., doesn’t it?

It has to have been that Mitchell kid! (Of course, there is the matter of Lio’s fingerprints on the slingshot, if it ever comes to that….)

And he was trying to get cookies by breaking the window? I thought Lio was smart…

Actually it looks like it was an accident, rather than actual intent.

I can just see Mr. Wilson leading the neighbors in a conga line, with everyone chanting “No more Dennis Mit-chell! No more Dennis Mit-chell!”

I’m glad Mark drew the ’50s Dennis. I doubt the Dennis of today would have a slingshot or know what to do with it.

To be fair a slingshot doesn’t fit Lio. Now if they found a portable particle accelerator on the sidewalk, sure, book’em Danno!

Tom, don’t be so sure. It could have been Bart, and not Dennis. Simpson knows his way around a slingshot. But then Tatulli would have been dealing with a whole other set of lawyers. The 50’s Dennis is way cooler than Bart Simpson would have been though.

That third panel has an almost Mad Magazine quality to it, with the lines drawing attention to the implement of destruction.

Dennis needs that ‘not me’ ghost from Family Circus to get him out of this one.
