50 years of comics and I’m pretty sure I have never seen anyone that made me wan’t to be elsewhere as dad hanging on that wall. He is quite mad, you know.
Lio has the same expression and body language the spider did when the spider ‘webbed up’ Wilbur at the County Fair (the Lio strip that turned me into a fan) and when the spider webbed up Charlie Brown. For that matter, Lio’s dad has the same expression Lio did in those cartoons.
Oh Lio, you have the most patient dad on the planet, but I think you might be in for it now. I mean, you knocked his beer out of his hand. How could you?

Close one, Dad. I think Lio may need a lecture on safe handling of his spear-gun….

Lio’s Dad: “Son, here’s an idea: Why don’t you go play with that dark-haired girl, her big sister and their little cousin in their pool?!”

I love their faces, too. I don’t think my Dad would have let me have one of those things.

The artwork conveys so many emotions, yet so simply! Brilliant, Mr. T!

Dad wouldn’t buy me a BB Gun. Wouldn’t respect it. Gave me a 22 at 13. Bad move, Dad.

Reminds me of the screams of “LOOK OUT!!!” back when lawn darts were legal. Wonderful game with to play with two preschool children running around.
