Ha ha! We were just reminiscing about the first books we remembered reading as a child, and I said, “Remember that kid with his purple crayon? That one!”
If I remember it correctly, Lio and Harold has something in common: niether of them speak. (Ofcourse it’s been a long time since I read the Harold and His Purple Crayon book, so maybe he does and I just don’t remember it)

Lio’s artwork is so lifelike! (Go away, Harold! This comic is too rich and fattening for you!)

The recent arc where Lio was drawing things reminded me of Harold—and here he is now! I love both Lio’s and Harold’s expressions.

Harold and the Purple Crayon! That was my mom’s favorite book series when she was a kid!

If you don’t get the reference, look it up. It’s pretty simple. It’s sort of how life works now, what with the Google and all.

See if you can find a book on Crockett Johnson’s comic:“Barnaby”.

Two things Lio should never be entrusted with: a Green Lantern’s ring and Harold’s Purple Crayon. The world is doomed!

Quote from the original book: “It was a terribly frightening dragon.”
