Yesterday the number of deaths worldwide passed 100,000… I’m sorry but it really isn’t funny…

I know ‘Lio’ is a bit morbid in humour, but this could have waited a few months.

If I were the other kid…I would get MORE than six feet away from Lio and do so at a very rapid pace!

Little kids CAN spread the virus! I don’t mind humor about the virus, but, this one is in VERY poor taste and NOT the LEAST bit funny!

I see it as a commentary on how easily one can spread the virus without knowing it. I do think he crossed the line, though.

I’d actually call it too late, what with the lead time on strip creation to publication being up to 6 weeks, so this was almost surely created back when things weren’t quite as serious as they are now. Hopefully that knowledge will lead to some Lio “fans” being more understanding and kind towards Mark.

Sorry, Mark, but you stepped over the line on this one. Besides, it doesn’t make any sense.

Lio is just a creative bubble blower.

Humour can be cathartic, at times of great stress. The recent series of Covid-19-themed strips here is just what we need now. Seeing the virus as a soap bubble removes some of the horror this unseen enemy is causing.

It’s timely, and helpful — It’s not too soon, and It’s not offensive.

Those bubbles are catchy.

Lio went there, goes there, and will go there. Funny or not, whatever your stance, this strip has people talking, or writing as the case may be.

This is a picture of a coronavirus, so named because they have a crown-like shape. There are lots of strains of coronavirus – almost everyone who’s ever been sick has been infected with a type of Coronavirus. Is it the COVID-19 strain? Probably. Big deal. Mature adults don’t get offended. Keep up the good work, Mr. Tatulli – some of us appreciate your efforts to save us from humorless oafs.

Bad taste? Too soon? ehhh, its Lio. This is the most actual frightening one I have ever seen though. I do like to blow bubbles with my grandson, and art students. Well I did before the current plague.
