The Lockhorns never resorted to violence. They are two ends of a magnet, but not violent.

Andy Capp would have been a more likely candidate for arrest but he is on the wrong side of the pond. This would have made a good “Cops” episode as well though most of the “Cops” episodes are from FL, Vegas or Riverside County CA, not Philly.

Looks like the guy being led awayby the cop had a speech balloon at one time but it’s now missing. The strip might have been funny…once.

I never thought that their type of “humor” was funny.

Haven’t seen that cartoon in a long time. I do remember the characters…
