My dog was my best friend and the collar (legally mandated) merely for identification (along with the chip) if we should have become accidentally lost from each other. She slept on my bed at night and sat beside me on the chair in the living room. She had a healthier diet than I did, probably. When she eventually died at nearly 14, I grieved her as a lost friend. My hope is that we can be reunited in the afterlife.
Some dogs are servants, some are friends and members of the family.
My home may not be a mansion, or an Estate, but we all (me, the wife, Skitzi, Bear Chula and Cheech) have enough to eat and a warm bed to lay our heads. And you are more than welcome to stay for a while, or forever.

Hey, Little Dog,
My home may not be a mansion, or an Estate, but we all (me, the wife, Skitzi, Bear Chula and Cheech) have enough to eat and a warm bed to lay our heads. And you are more than welcome to stay for a while, or forever.
