The winter solstice is my favorite day of the year, as the days once again get longer. when the days are short, I so miss the light in the evening and the energy to get things done after work. So, yes, everyone, happy dang solstice. Once again we will be on an uptick!

Here in northern Maine we lost just shy of seven and a half hours of daylight! Glad the trend is now reversed itself.
