    Sweet tea in Michigan, no way, the restaurant staff act like “do people drink that”….yes and it’s good !!!! Add some ice to it too…

    If you want your tea that sweet, you have to add the sugar while the tea is still hot. It’s hell to get sugar to dissolve into cold drinks.

    JUST 3 scoops?! That wouldn’t sweeten a quarter cup of ice tea. There’s something about tea that eradicates 90% of all sugar granules applied.

    I’m sweet enough as it is, so I don’t need sugar in my iced tea. I do add lemon, though, to tone down my natural sweetness!

    As a Yankee living in the South, I get really strange looks when I order unsweetened tea, especially when I tell them no to the added sweeteners. They don’t understand how anyone could drink anything but sweet tea.
