Instead of amputee, it is now differently limbed. I can sort of understand the handicapped one as it implies you can’t do anything well, but this one beats me.
Intelligence has it’s limits, but stupidity knows no bounds. Also I have to stop asking “how stupid can people be?”, they’re starting to take it as a challenge.
A lot of this BS started with the word moron. Kids would use it as an insult to each other. Then the powers that be decided, oh we can’t have that and they decreed we should use, handicapped, special, and an a sundry of others when ever the kids just started using those as insults. And it wasn’t just kids, do you remember ‘handicapped man’ on the show In Living Color?

Could just say “birther”, but the whole idea is stupid anyway. Let’s hope we don’t reach this level of “political correctness”.

Besides, mother has a completely different meaning nowadays, as in “Mother of all bombs”.

Nobody is “supposed” to say “birthing person”. It was a phrase used for a specific reason, but has not been dictated to be used by anyone else.

Why can’t we just get back to being genial? I’m not into politics so I shouldn’t need to be corrected.

Bill Maher (?) said that when someone does something that sounds like a headline from “The Onion”, we have a big problem.

We have to be vigilant. If we don’t fight this, we may be expected to do something that really matters.
