this already exists, its called caroling, or Wassailing. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia“Here we come a-wassailing” The tradition of wassailing falls into two distinct categories: the house-visiting wassail and the orchard-visiting wassail. The house-visiting wassail is the practice of people going door-to-door, singing and offering a drink from the wassail bowl in exchange for gifts; this practice still exists, but has largely been displaced by carol singing.
I like the idea, but didn’t that use to be a thing with carolers? A trailer or vehicle full of people would go around singing and generous people would offer them hot cocoa and treats? Sad that I never see that anymore. It wasn’t even that long ago that it was a tradition. This world and especially this country has really lost its way. It’s fine if you don’t like to celebrate Christmas, but it seems pure laziness and outright discontent for having to do anything more than scroll through social media has caused the downfall of once beautiful and proud traditions to be the forefront of the holidays.

No costumes though?

Not a bad idea. It would save the stress of having to buy Christmas presents.

That sounds like a good plan. I have an easy microwave fudge recipe I must look up.

Back in my youth, it was called Christmas caroling. Most of the people would treat us to hot chocolate and home made baked goodies.
