My brother-in-law used to be the coach of his high school’s chess team. He had some of his students over onetime and they were standing in the entrance way to the house talking about an upcoming competition.

I said, “Chess nuts boasting in an open foyer.”

My sister asked me, “How long have you been waiting to deliver that line?”

I replied, “All my life.”
