To shut off your Pi-hole open a terminal on your RaspberryPi and type
>sudo shutdown -h now
Maybe a safety would do – you know, like think twice before opening your piehole once..

Sounds like more her shutting HER pie hole…
You can never actually shut a pi hole. No matter how small the hole gets. It will still be 3.14.
