The guy carrying the “End Of The World Is Nigh” signs have been a cartoon staple for decades. I wonder how old you’d have to be and where you would need to have been living to have seen that in real life? I’m over 60 and have never seen one.

I’m guessing “Stan” and “Mike” are references to something?
