I’m always up against this. My daughter wants help but every time I go to look something up, in order to make sure I’m teaching it the way her teacher expects, the kid takes out her phone and starts chatting with her friends. And when I complain, the answer is always “but you’re not doing anything!”It’s a good thing I love her because for anybody else, the answer would be (in my best Cartman voice) “screw you guys, I’m going home”.
