“Grounded,” Luann! And not just in “Reality!”

This goes back with what i said a week an half ago. Luann snuck out of the house. Mom would never let her go out looking like that

Well, was it worth it? Apparently so!

It was “Miss Parton” that was grounded. Once she takes off the costume and makeup, Luann can claim that she isn’t grounded.

Mom law is awesome

I remember girls whose mothers did a quick check of the costume before she was allowed to leave— but the girls had the “real” costume under the outer costume. A few years later I was at a mall and one of those girl’s mother was there, and she came to talk to me at the food court. I thought I was just going to be embarrassed, but she was the one who turned red and kind of shyly asked how “K” real costume looked back then. It turned out that mother knew because mother had done the same thing way back when. Mother has got to play mother, but sometimes there are loopholes.

It had to be said, “Bust-ed!”

I’ve been trying to figure out if Luann is wearing tall boots (if so, where did she get those?), or just heels with black tights. In these panels it kinda looks like knee-high black boots (reflection off the faux shiny leather) . And why the big deal about the stuffed bustline? That is so obviously fake it comes across as a silly joke… hardly sexy or attractive, IMO.

At least her mom has a sense of humor…

Making mountains out of mole hills always gets you into trouble.

In today’s “woke” and “snowflake” society I’m surprised Greg re-released this one. (Reference the Dolly Parton remark!)

Luann really was kind of a boob to wear that (and those!).
