Looks to me like Mr. Evans has turned Brad and Toni into a story arc with a life of its own that is overshadowing LuAnn. So now he is getting ready to just kill off the whole Brad/Toni thread.He could have had them just get married, adopt Shannon and find jobs in Vancouver. Toni as manager of safety, Brad as a fire academy instructor. Instead, he has to remind everyone of how shi**y life is becoming for blue collar stiffs whose only goal in life is to put in an honest day’s work for an honest day’s wage.
