Luann by Greg Evans and Karen Evans for January 05, 2012
Transcript:
Quill: "You don't think it's possible that I could like you more than Tiffany, do you?" Luann: "It's just hard to believe, Quill. I've been envious of her beauty since 3rd grade" Quill: "Beauty's in the eyes of the beholder. Y'know" Luann: "So, to you, I'm better looking than Tiffany?" Quill: "To me, you have more beauty" Luann: "Oh, ok. This is a "you have a beautiful personality" thing"
It is funny the people we are envious of. There are people I have envied because of one reason or another – she is thinner than me, she has a nicer house, she is so organized. Yet when I look deeper into those lives, there are things NOT to envy – she had an eating disorder, she can’t really afford that house and is close to bankruptcy, she is OCD. You get the picture! And yet there could be people out there who envy ME for some crazy reason! Where I am going with this is… there is a reason Tiffany loves to antigonize Luann. Tiffany feels threatened by her, or has her own envy. It has been mentioned that Tiff doesn’t have a close family life. She knows Luann does. If she TRULY thought she was better than Luann, they wouldn’t be such rivals. (OK, I will shut up now. LOL)
