TJ: I'm gonna write a sitcom called TJ and the Brad! Brad: makes sense. We're a laff riot. TJ: Well, I am. You need to be way funnier. The goal is 6 jokes per minute. Brad: ok. Why did the chicken- Tj: We start with a funny one minute scene that states a problem. Brad: I can do it in one second: you're an idiot. TJ: We bring in a subplot... Brad: Make mine a foot long meatball. TJ: The hero struggles comically. Brad: What's the difference between a "sub" and a "hero"? TJ: But never changes... Brad: True. You've worn that shirt forever. TJ: Ok, if you're not gonna take this seriously, forget it! Brad: Hey. I did my 6 jokes.
Ok, i have a question for those here with longer recollections about the characters. People often refer to TJ as a con man, but i do not recall anything that indicated that he really has been one, just some people wondering about his truck. So, that mght only be people assuming the worst.
There are two reasons i ask. The first is because his investment and the Fuse itself could be at risk if there is anything to it, maybe even if there isn’t but suspicion arises.
The second reason is that for at least a decade there has been a fable in tv and movies of the con man with a heart. It replaced the gun slinger with a heart fable, i think. Of course, anyone hurt by a con man feels differently, as did my hubby’s grandma about gunslingers. As a young child she was lucky to escape bullets shot through their front door by Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid who made most of their income with protection rackets imposed on those who could not defend themselves.
So, i was wondering if they ever played into that fable with him, or if only people’s suspicions voiced in the comments section were so definite. Anyone know?
