Boy every time I am up and see the first comments I say to myself, are these people looking at the same comic? To me clearly, Fay is embarrassed to the extreme, being shy, and being totally in a huge crush on Axel. I think too many OLD commentators forgot what it was like when they were teenagers, and how their elders thought they were totally useless, and a scourge on the future of mankind. Come on fellow Boomers, we we not the total apple of our Depression, World War 2 parents, but we came out okay, and in fact really became an updated version of them, dammit!! Fay needs to get confidence generally, be able to prove to herself how talented she is specifically, and be brave enough to stand up to and totally seduce Axel,or maybe not. Axel is hardly a delinquent, and a 12 or 13 year old tween boy having an attitude, is “no thing” Give that a break please!! And the “smirk” on Luann’s face? Jeez! She is ruefully smiling, with understanding, as seeing Fay holding her script book upside down, reminds Luann that she has “been there, done that”. She is the best person in Luannverse to help this sweet little girl become more confident and FIERCE in a nice way of course. To much “THESE KIDS TODAY” here IMO.
