Bob actually has a point. The leaves decompose and form nutrients which eventually go back into the trees. Whatever, though. I’m with Maria on this one- it’s just cool.
Appreciate the fall colors. Last year I left the leaves under the snow, had to work twice as hard mowing the lawn in The Spring. The grass grew faster than I could mow it.

The air hasn’t been so cool and crisp here on the eastern seaboard. Waiting for the hurricane to blow out completely and take the humidity with it.
