@Kab. The successful ones are paid fairly well like “Lio” and “Pearls” because they are in a lot of newspapers. “Lila” is only in a few papers and there’s no money in online publishing. I was hoping the departure of “Cathy” might open up a few slots, but I didn’t get any from that. Actually, most papers didn’t replace “Cathy” with another female-centered strip. It’s just the nature of the business. Thanks for the sentiment :-)
