“Take care of…”Gee, that’s not at all ominous.

That’s a cute line. “I know hell. They keep a room for me there.”

Well said, Lila! Will Matty’s mummy now find a shred of respect for her? Could this be the start of some sort of friendship between them?

Funny thing is…. while Lila said she expected Matthew to propose, I’ve never gotten the impression she was sure she’d say “Yes.”

Though we know she owns some very skimpy little dresses, to hear his expected proposal, she wore a plaid suit with a long scarf covering her neck…

It’s almost as if she wanted to NOT look sexy when she turned him down.

I do remember that she moaned about Annie giving her million dollar program to charity, so maybe she’d take the money and go…

But “Mommy’s” attempt to bribe her, and her assumption that Lila would accept a scarcely veiled threat to her own mother….

those things might be so insulting to Lila that now she’s actually tempted to marry Matthew, out of spite.

There’s a little voice in my head that wonders whether she’ll surprise us all…

Is there a chance she’ll find her moral compass (she missed her moment for righteous indignation) and say"no" to both of them?

Hold out for “father cared for,” not “taken care of” and it could be a deal. Along with $200,000

I knew it. A bidding war. Next, Dr. K ups the ante with a house in Shaker Heights?

No hold your ground Lila. Plus if he finds out what his mom did she probably won’t be that big a part of their lives.

If only she had told Lila that she would have her moms tongue bobbed and father taked care of along with the 100k, Lila and Annie might be having a real good time on the way home from the Brainiac Institute in Barcelona after enjoying its food, art and shoes, it would be on to Italy for art, the coliseum, and shoes, Then France for some clothing, art, and shoes. On to England for the museums, art and shoes. A stop in New York for the museums, art and shoes (and a real burger) then home again, home again, Jiggity Jog, the airport in Cleveland is closed due to fog….BTW: R.I.P. DAVY JONES OF THE MONKEES,

JWF you weave a great story. Ever give a career in writing in your hob search? Scrips for TV shows, anything along that line, you would be perfect for! People really get caught up in your stories, I know I do!
