I doubt that could happen…AFAIK, there is no artist working with JWF these days.. so the artwork is all being recycled from a starting point several years ago.I thought some of the dialog was changed when the reruns were just beginning…but I think now it’s being left as is.
I follow the strip, but I don’t read the forum every day… maybe John has said, and I missed it, so I’d hate to ask.
In any case…. there wouldn’t be any images available from the first run to support such a complete change in the story.
Actually, what she wore and how sober (or not) she was should have absolutely nothing to do with it. He’s responsible for his own actions. Besides, Lila’s always drunk and wearing a gramps dress.
Lila is always drunk and wearing a trampy dress at a bar. The point is that Tad should not be approaching women like that, period. But Drew, intelligent though she is, has a tendency to jump to conclusions.
Drew is slut shaming Lila. TERRIBLE. When will people learn that is not the way to go about it and in reality it’s her loser fiancee who should feel her wrath, not Lila. This arc is lame…let’s move on.
Drew’s reaction is actually better (although not by much) than my sister’s reaction when her guy hit on me. She said he was just trying to do me a favor since I didn’t have anyone. We didn’t talk for awhile and she married him several years later.

Being drunk makes women THAT attractive??

She may be implying that Lila misunderstood, or even hit on Tad herself.

A “gramps dress” is neither sufficient nor necessary justification for infidelity.

She just doesn’t want to admit that Tad is a Male Slut..Sometimes known as a Douchedog..
