All religions are a joke.
Same quote for politics.
God can take a joke … can you?
G. K. Chesterton probably wrote The Life of Brian.
“I wonder if she still loves me,” said Tom lackadaisically.
A man’s joke about religion is another man’s blasphemy against it. But Chesterton was right: the more seriously a person takes his/her religion, the higher the probability other people will make fun of him/her and his/her religion.
I like what’s on the newspaper, the comic, not so much this time
I refer one and all to the military view of this:
“If you can’t take a joke, you shouldn’t have enlisted.”
