Yes….of course….it should drive everyone nuts !

I had a neighbor who thought her wind chimes were so popular — that’s why they kept getting stolen. No one ever explained it to her, and she eventually stopped replacing them.

That used to be church bells. Not so much anymore.

I like them. Better than the loud pipes on some cars, trucks, and motorcycles.

We have one across the street that makes an annoying sound. Unfortunately, the wind blows a lot here.

I’m working on solar powered wind chimes.

How about the “Chimes of Freedom Flashing” eh?

Wind chimes can ring for hours, especially on stormy days. Often the owners are not home to “enjoy it” while “dinging” the entire neighborhood. Use common sense. Put chimes inside near a window, where you can hear the tinkle.

I audition all my wind chimes—they must be sweet, melodious, and above all SOFT! I can barely hear them even in my own yard, and I doubt the neighbors can hear them at all.

Normally it’s a subwoofer.

I usually like wind chimes, but I’ve never put any out because I know how many people don’t like them. If I ever got some, they would be the lower-pitched ones that had a soft quality to them.
