I used to be suggestive but now I’m reminiscent.

I try to be inspiring. Usually inspiring to do something else than what I did.

I learned a new word today, thanks for the memories.

Kid, you are looking at your future – if you’re lucky. So don’t be surprised when 50 years or so from now you see that same face in a mirror.

Reminds me of a day in my classroom when the kids and I were trading jokes about appearances. One said, Mr ?, you are old, man! and you are pot-bellied, bow-legged, and bald, too. Was a good laugh because he had it a bit right. [1985 and I was 50 at the time]

I laughed and replied Take a good look at any relative you resemble who is my age or older. Then 50 years or so down the road, when you look in the mirror and are surprised to see that person looking back, look over your shoulder. I’ll be there laughing. I bet a lot of them are seeing me in the mirror about now, and, sure enough, I’m laughing.

Alright, go ahead and evocate.

I’m old. Nothing wrong with not having died yet.

So I guess the kid is derivative
