Forget cough syrup. Take a shot glass of Whiskey, tilt head back & poor into the ‘back’ of your throat. The soothing, burning sensation will ease your cough much better then over the counter cough syrup.
It IS flu season. I know flu sounds like Covid’s kid cousin, but it can knock you out. The shot makes getting it less likely and if you do, you’ll come back out of the corner when the bell rings.
