Um, Monty... When you were describing that movie, you used the g-word... The g-word? We don't believe in g-word toys. All our toys are educational or inspirational... Yeah. Like doctor kits... Toy cookware... Just try not to mention the g-word again... Oh. Ok. Sorry. So Perny, what're you up to there? I'm performing brain surgery on Teddy with a and blender.
“Hand blender”? In my youthful days, when Mom, or I working in the kitchen with her, actually used such a thing regularly, it was never called anything other than “egg-beater,” regardless of what it was being used to mix/blend/froth, etc.Kids will be kids, despite helicopter parents, and can readily enough (if not always articulately) distinguish between play and make-believe on the one hand and reality or ’for real" on the other. Toy guns and “cops and robbers” or “soldiers” or “cowboys and indians” as play-tropes (particularly but not exclusively for little boys) are not harmful, if the child is sane to begin with….
