Valentine's Day again... Alone... Hhhhhhhh... Well, did you know that for much of its history, Valentine's Day had nothing to do with romance?... It wasn't until 1382 when a chaucer poem first gave it a romantic association. For this was on Seynt Volantyny's day whan euery bryd comyth there to chese his make. Great. But I have absolutely no idea what making cheese has to do with romance.
English Lit. would have been so much easier if Chaucer had used spell check.
