Monty by Jim Meddick for March 16, 2014
Transcript:
Whenever I experience writers block, it often helps to get outta the house and drive down to the local coffee shop for the afternoon... Here the aspiring screenwriter is exposed to a wide swath of humanity... And using keen observation will soon begin gathering the raw material of drama... Here he witnesses the day to day struggles of the common folk... The unsung heroics... Amusing foibles... The small victories in the heart rendering failures!... Aha! There's something! An incident across the street that has inspired my opening sequence! Act one, scene one: The humble taco vendor steps off the curb and is quickly perturbed to discover a mix of slush and ice surging over the brim of his galoshes...
