Our local news show reported that we had a clown sighting in the Twin Cities last week. They’re occasionally seen here in good weather, and some people get creeped out.
I was resting from my yard exertions among the trees, and a bird landed on my head. I think a tufted titmouse. It stayed for about a minute, harvesting hair for its nest. Luckily I have enough for both of us.

Those four-fingered gloves are hard to find.

That’s what you get for choosing an Auguste Clown. A Tramp Clown would send those birds flying.

Monty has very few friends. You wouldn’t think he’d want to scare any away.

He should have just put clown makeup on the zombie mask.

Most young people nowadays would be scared by a clown, period. I don’t know why.
But the tentative hypothesis here is that some birds are smarter than Moondog…..
