Unschooled? That’s a poor trait.

It’s a shame that some stray dog chose to defecate on it.

How ghastly. Look away while you still can.

So two-dimensional.

The first panel seems so funny to me.

Wow that caricature must be horrendous. The “real” kid is bad enough.

There’s no shadow or highlight on Sedgwick’s tie either, folks.

Well, it is difficult to achieve chiaroscuro with only a piece of chalk and a pair of kneepads.

The only thing more appropriate, perhaps, would be for the unknown artist to have painted the caricature on the sidewalk with Slime, rather than using chalk.

It would have then been a vicious viscous caricature.

Everyone’s a critic! But Jarvis’s commentary strongly suggests to me that Sedgie is just a bit prejudiced against this wonderful Sidewalk Public Art and Social Commentary!
