An egg cream soda sounds pretty good. An egg cream rum, not so much.

I don’t see a lot of choices when it comes to eggnog, but Bordens is the berand we buy if available.

I have some whipped cream flavored vodka. It really makes eggnog good. It is yummy, like drinking candy.

My recipe is to go to the grocery store and ask “where is the eggnog?”

Homemade eggnog is delicious. It’s much better than the store-bought stuff. But yeah, it takes some work to make.

Incidentally, rum has apparently been part of the recipe from the very beginning. The original name is egg grog.

Moondoggie is too “laid back” (read “lazy”) to make the eggnog recipe. Rum plus an egg? Yuck! Also, yuk (Turkish)….

I have never seen a recipe for eggnog that requires cooking. If one is worried about using raw eggs, you can purchase pasteurized eggs instead.
