I never discussed my pay with fellow employees. My wife, otoh, would tell people in the grocery stores.
It’s odd that Jeff took a job without knowing the salary. It’s a comic, of course.
When you’re Union, everyone doing the same work at the same level gets paid the same. Last non Union place I worked they fired anyone who discussed pay with other employees.
Guess they had inflation too.
I worked for a guy in Van Nuys and on Friday he would say to me “flip you double or nothing for your check” I never did.
