Double hat launch, 3rd panel. Jeff’s seems to be a bit of a faux hat launch though; the hat remains stationary as his head and body follow the drill into the ground. Does this qualify as a hat launch at all? I’d say it does as the visual acuity is there at first glance. Only a slight twinge of disappointment as we realize his hat was not truly launched, as Mutt’s was.
I used a two-man motorized posthole drive once, on my own. It worked well on a couple of holes, but then, on the third hole, the bit encountered a buried piece of wood and seized up, but the top part kept spinning; I was thrown about 4 feet. Lots of power in those machines.
