I have been remiss on my story og the āGoat Mountain Fireā. up in Montana in 1960. I am having trouble with what to write, and what I might not want to. Brmthe second day, I was pretty much running things things, because I had more experience that anyone ele onn the mountain, evev the fore boss.. >>>>>> But a couple of days ago I found jy journal from 1975.the whole season, july 11 to September 30. pretty well documented, a daily (almost) of what went on. I havenāt read it yet, so it will bring back stuff that I hope may interest,] most of you. of course aot of it is pretty undane.>>>>>>I will finish the āthe Gost Mpuntainā story, promise..
Iām making a big batch of French Toast this morning with the bread I made yesterday. So, come on by and set a spell. I make pretty good coffee, too!
Our first Bambi Babies showed up yesterday. One of our deer stopped at the water pan, and she had 2 babies! They look like they might have been only a few days old, wobbly and all. :)))

1867 Another busy year. As I remember it, it began on Shirttail (after wintering in San berbardino Mts. in SoCal. From there to Grangeville in Idaho, south of Lewiston where there was a big wildfire.. (That is another fire story, too) Then over to Montana via the Lewis and Clark Hiway Finally wound up back in the San Bernardino Mts working with a mason. Actually stayed there for a couple of years..
Ok folks, my reference to ā67 was Canadaās centennial..The Montreal Worldās Fair, Man and His World.I went in ā67 on a high school field trip, what a day..ttfn

I remember 1967 alsoā¦ā¦.we already had two kids, and I became a Tupperware Manager with the free station wagon.
And, our favorite movie that year was āWait Until Darkā with Audry Hepburn and Alan Arkin. What a terrific movie!!!!

All those ā1967ā comments make me feel old.. āFirst driverās licenseā? āHigh school field tripā? Etc? Iām so old. :-)
