I remember one by Jim Davis where Garf answered a fan mail asking how he stood on the fence. He showed the fence from a different angle; it was about a foot thick with a flat top.

We’ve never seen a different angle of Snoopy’s house have we?But actually if you look at the Oct 19th strip Lucy was standing on Snoopy’s doghouse without any problems, so it has to be flat on top.

Actually, it’s just a matter of training. For one thing, that “point” is at least an inch across, and just as a tight-rope walker can not only walk but also lie on the “wire” (which is a fairly thick rope), so also a Zen-master Snoopy can easily sleep on his gabled roof! You can learn, Boody!

Plus, Marcie occasionally acts as Snoopy’s secretary — and she sits on the doghouse several times. It can’t be too difficult.
