Karma was just mowing her lawn (bamboo grows very quickly). But perhaps she was a bit over-enthusiastic about how she did it. Poison ivy is, well, karma in return….

Self punishment isn’t atonement. Neither is damaging the ivy.
Watering the bamboo would be!
This would mean a bit more if she were wearing shorts and sandals.
Many plants grow better if you prune them from time to time.
