If Broomie Luv’s hearing is as good as I think it might be;that tree will not protect Gaylord, and Irwin stands a good chance of becoming collateral damage.
What show ended with someone saying “Sit, Ubu, Sit.”? Ubu’s dead now, too. Not to mention cast members of long ago. Death, be not proud! Death: “Just doin’ my job.”
The cat was Mimsie. She also appeared on Mary Tyler Moore & St. Elsewhere. In the final episode of St. Elsewhere she was shown on a surgical gurney with an IV & EKG… & she flatlined.
Mimsie was given a loving forever home with a crew member’s family & lived to a ripe old cat age of 18.

At the end of Newhart episodes, using Bob’s voice, the cat would actually say “Meow”.
