    My daughter (13) refuses to watch a Buster Keaton movie with me. I won’t watch anything with her until she does.

    Be thankful. Any association of Gilchrist with Bushmiller’s work is unjust. He’s ruined the strip to such an extent that it’s unrecognizable. Except on those occasions where he’s lifted entire Bushmiller strips and, after changing the dialogue some, signed his own name.

    I agree that Annie changed for the better. I liked Jay Maeder’s version and was sorry that it was canceled. I like the old Nancy but I like the Gilchrist version too. Love to see more of Fritzi and the return of Phil. A much more likable Phil.

    It must be pre 1920’s because Fatty Arbuckle was blacklisted in the early 1920’s on a sex murder scandal.
