I think Aunt Fritz looks great. I wish I had an aunt that looked that good and was that soft hearted. Mine all weighed 300 lbs but they were soft hearted and I loved them.

I have often wonder why – if modern day Aunt Fritzi is a writer who specializes in country music – she almost NEVER mentions Gene Autry – who has been credited with pioneering the “modern” country music concept. For one thing, Gene Autry was one of the first country music singers who received a “Gold” record. Gene Autry has more stars on the Walk of Fame than any other performer. Gene Autry made his last movie somewhere in the vicinity of 1955 – and the Gene Autry television show remained on the air for several years afterward. 1955 Nancy, Aunt Fritzi and Sluggo would have known all about Gene Autry’s contribution to Country Music. It just seems very odd that present-day Aunt Fritzi knows nothing about Gene Autry’s contributions and ALWAYS by-passes remembering his birthday – or other significant anniversaries.
