Imagine Nancy’s surprise to learn the Soda Shoppe is closed because of the blizzard. She should of called ahead…

I’ve been one of Nancy’s boys for decades.

I like ice cream on a cold day. Doesn’t get so sticky.

Actually Nancy, with all that beautiful clean, white snow, you could get a nice big bowl and fill it with the snow and make snow cream. All you need is some snow, vanilla, milk, and sugar. My grandma made some once and it was good!

When this was in my local newspaper Sunday comics years ago, I cut it out and covered ice cream with the name of the bar we used to go to and put it on the board. That is exactly what friend and I did during a snow storm! Called the bar to see if they were open and the owner said he would watch for us.

The ice cream shop doesn’t have a late bell.

New Nancy wouldn’t be that motivated.
