“Boy, I say boy! You’re doin’ it all wrong!

No, Pee Wee. You’re supposed to sit on the fly rod and then you can fly, just like a witch on a broom.

You see, it’s funny because the word “fly” means cool, fashionable, or in style. Instead of Pee Wee strutting down the street with it, showing it off to other fly (cool) fishermen, he is damaging it. Everybody knows when you have a hobby that the point is to show your accoutrements off to others.

In fly fishing, of course, you use a fly to catch the fish rather than a rod to catch the fly. You have to catch the fly – or buy it from a fishing shop – in order to try to catch the fish.

You can tie your own ties for fly fishing.

Nancy needs to show him what’s it really for….

Why on earth is there a fishing pole leaning against the wall, all casual like? I can see that at Sluggo’s shack, but fritz usually has a clean house.
